As you step into the pavilion, the Grand Theatre comes into view. This venue not only features music and comedy acts but also other forms of live entertainment. Additionally, the Grand Theatre, offering a vast space of 15,000 square feet, is available for rent for various purposes such as conferences, weddings, banquets, trade shows, or other events.

Rising Star VIP Club

History of Rising Star Casino Resort

Indiana lawmakers passed the Riverboat Gambling Act and it came into effect in 1993. Following this, regulators started accepting applications and granting licenses. One of the first licenses was issued to Hyatt Hotels.

In 1996, Hyatt purchased the Queen of New Orleans casino riverboat from Hilton Flamingo. They renamed it Grand Victoria II and made it the centerpiece of the newly created Grand Victoria Casino & Resort by Hyatt in October 1996. The casino provided 40,000 square feet of gaming space. Within a year, a 200-room hotel was added to the Hyatt property.

Towards the end of the 2000s, Hyatt Hotels started looking for potential buyers for their property. Full House Resorts acquired the hotel-casino in 2011 and rebranded it as Rising Star Casino Resort after purchasing it for $43 million. In 2013, Full House Resorts further expanded the resort by adding a 104-room hotel tower.
