You Don’t Want To Dodge These World Series Betting Promos

You Don’t Want To Dodge These World Series Betting Promos

Posted on October 20, 2020

It’s been a rollercoaster of a season, but baseball fans still have a World Series in October.

Pandemic delays aside, Major League Baseball kept things on track throughout the shortened 60-game season.

Championship week is here, and the LA Dodgers are ready to face off with the Tampa Bay Rays.

Indiana’s online sportsbooks will be taking action on every possible game from Oct. 20-27.

Each sportsbook has something unique to offer, so Hoosiers will have plenty of betting options to pick from.

2020 World Series odds

Every one of Indiana’s online betting apps has the Dodgers as the favorites to win the series.

LA is also the favorite for Game 1 of the series, so there’s some value out there if you’re confident in the Rays.

Here’s a quick look at the odds for Game 1 and the World Series as a whole:

To Win World Series Game 1 Moneyline Game 1 Spread Game 1 Over/Under Total
DraftKings LA -200, TB +160 LA -182, TB +155 LA -1.5, TB +1.5 O/U 7.5
FanDuel LA -210, TB +176 LA -170, TB +148 LA -1.5, TB +1.5 O/U 7.5
BetMGM LA -200, TB +165 LA -176, TB +155 LA -1.5, TB +1.5 O/U 7.5
PointsBet LA -200, TB +160 LA -180, TB +150 LA -1.5, TB +1.5 O/U 7.5
BetRivers LA -200, TB +160 LA -182, TB +155 LA -1.5, TB +1.5 O/U 7.5
Caesars LA -200, TB +175 LA -170, TB +155 LA -1.5, TB +1.5 O/U 7.5
theScore Bet LA -220, TB +180 LA -175, TB +165 LA -1.5, TB +1.5 O/U 7.5

The Dodgers may be the favorites, but they don’t have the odds edge by much. If Game 1 doesn’t go their way, the series odds could easily shift in Tampa Bay’s favor.

DraftKings World Series Betting Props

Prop bets are a great way to mix up the typical betting experience, and DraftKings has the most options in Indiana.

For example, you can bet on which team you think will score more runs in a particular inning.

For the first inning in Game 1, the Dodgers are +295 favorites to come out on top. The Rays are trailing at +440.

World Series MVP betting is also on the table. Right fielder Mookie Betts is the favorite to claim the award.

  • Mookie Betts: +800
  • Tyler Glasnow: +900
  • Randy Arozarena: +1,000
  • Cody Bellinger: +1,000
  • Clayton Kershaw: +1,000

Those are only a handful of the prop betting options, so check out DraftKings for the full list of props.

FanDuel World Series parlay promo

Sportsbooks are starting to pump out the first round of promotions for the World Series.

FanDuel is getting in on the action by bringing back its bonus same-game parlay deal. This is the MLB edition of the NFL promo the sportsbook has been running all season.

If you place a parlay with three legs or more and your bet loses, FanDuel will refund you up to $10.

That odds for that Game 1 parlay have to add up to at least +200 in order for your bet to qualify.

To take advantage of the promotion, just sign up for FanDuel and then opt-in to the deal under the “Promotions” section of its website or app.

PointsBet 100% Match promo

PointsBet is urging baseball fans to hop in on the live betting fun.

The sportsbook is matching everyone’s bets on the 2020 World Series.

In other words, if you place a $15 live bet on Game 1 of the World Series, PointsBet will credit your account with $15 worth of bonus bets.

PointsBet will match your first live bet up to $25, so if you’re already planning on live betting the series, then this is the promo for you.

The deal rolls over for every game, so the value is there throughout the entire series. If the matchup goes to seven games, then you’ll have seven chances to rack up bonus bets.

BetRivers World Series profit boost

Betting on the World Series at BetRivers can win you more money, plain and simple.

That is, if you’re taking advantage of the sportsbook’s free profit boosts.

BetRivers is giving out 25% profit boosts for every game of the World Series.

The promotion is really two boosts, since you can use it once each game on both a pre-match and a live bet.

There’s a max bet of $50 for the profit boost deal, which can add up to $250 in additional winnings.

More promotions will come out throughout the series, so if none of these peak your interest, just check in with your favorite sportsbook over the course of the next week.
