1. Is this a new Caesars Sportsbook app?

Yes, Caesars is taking a second shot at the online sportsbook game in the Hoosier State.

The company originally launched Caesars Sportsbook in Indiana back in May 2020.

However, things didn’t last long thanks to the William Hill purchase. Caesars ended up retiring its original Indiana sportsbook app on March 14, 2021. William Hill launched in the state shortly after.

Now, things are changing once again.

The new “Caesars Sportsbook” app is a brand-new offering from the company that isn’t connected to the original Caesars online sportsbook.

If you already have the William Hill app downloaded to your phone, you will just need to update that app.

If you have the old Caesars Sportsbook app or do not have the William Hill app installed, follow the links on this page to download the new Caesars Sportsbook app.

2. Can I still use the William Hill app if I want to?

Sorry, but this changeover is a mandatory one.

The William Hill app no longer exists as its own entity, so gamblers that enjoyed the brand’s offerings can migrate over to Caesars Sportsbook for a similar selection.

Again, if you already have the William Hill app, all you will need to do is update to make the switch.

3. What do I need to do if I already have a William Hill account?

If you’re already using William Hill, then the transition will be an easy one for you.

Just open up the William Hill app on your phone and follow the prompts to update. It will only take a few minutes to get yourself set up with the new Caesars Sportsbook app.

4. Do I need to download a new app?

That depends.

Gamblers in Indiana that already have the William Hill app will not need to hunt down the new sportsbook app. Instead, Caesars has released a new update for the William Hill app that will rebrand it to Caesars Sportsbook.

Just head to your device’s app store to update to the latest version of the sportsbook. Opening the William Hill app will also prompt you to download the update.

The app is available for both Android and iOS devices, so everyone will have a chance to use the new sportsbook.

If you are a brand new user, then follow the links on this page to download the new Caesars Sportsbook app.

5. Does Caesars Sportsbook have new-user promotions?

Yes! The new Caesars Sportsbook app will be constantly rotating through new promotions. It also plans to add same game parlays in the near future.

To celebrate the sportsbook’s launch, Caesars is letting new customers place their first bet bonus. Your bet can be worth up to $5,000, so that’s a great way to get your bankroll started off on the right foot.

New users must make their first real-money sports wager within seven days of opening a new account. If your first wager loses, Caesars Sportsbook will credit you with a one-time use bonus bet token equal to whichever is of lesser value:

  • The full value of the qualifying wager
  • $5,000

Since the promotion is only for new users, you won’t be able to take advantage of the deal if you already have a William Hill account.

6. Will Caesars Sportsbook have different betting lines?

The betting lines will remain more or less the same on the new Caesars Sportsbook app.

The company is keeping the same William Hill odds team in place, so gamblers should expect similar lines going forward.

7. Do I need to create a new Caesars account?

No. You do not need a new account to use the Caesars Sportsbook app if you already have a William Hill account.

All of your login details will remain the same.

On the other hand, this new app is different from the original version of the Caesars Sportsbook app that’s now discontinued in Indiana. If you used that original app, then you will need to create a new account to take advantage of the improved Caesars Sportsbook.

8. How will the change affect my Caesars Rewards points?

Gamblers can earn Caesars Rewards points with the new Caesars Sportsbook app. Every bet can earn you Tier Credits and Rewards Credits, regardless of whether your bet wins or loses.

Those credits can be redeemed for travel, dining, and free play at a Caesars casino property.

Caesars owns multiple casinos in Indiana, making it convenient to redeem your rewards.

Even if you’re not a regular gambler, it’s worth checking out Caesars Rewards if you’re using the company’s sportsbook app. Just be sure to enter your rewards number when you create your Caesars Sportsbook account.

9. Is the William Hill wallet rolling over into Caesars?

Yes, your William Hill wallet will transfer over into Caesars Sportsbook.

Since the new app is just converting your William Hill account, your money will still be in your account.

10. Are there more changes coming in the future?

If you’ve been sticking with Caesars Sportsbook over the course of the last year, then chances are, you’re getting tired of all the changes.

Rest assured, this will be the plan for the foreseeable future. The Caesars Sportsbook app should be around for the long haul.

However, one change to keep an eye on is the company’s in-person sportsbooks in Indiana.

Caesars just recently opened a few new William Hill Sportsbooks at its casinos in Indiana. Since the company is sunsetting the William Hill brand, those in-person sportsbooks are already going through a rebranding to become Caesars Sportsbooks.
