Pat McAfee’s Winning Streak Snaps With His NFL Betting Picks
Pat McAfee had a betting stalemate this past weekend.
The former Colts punter’s betting picks went 2-2.
McAfee has been on fire to start the football calendar, and hasn’t had a losing week yet. That progress may have slowed this week, but his overall betting record is still in the green.
PlayIndiana is tracking Pat’s Picks all season, so check back in every week to see how he did over the weekend.
Pat McAfee NFL betting Super Boost
McAfee usually releases a whole slate of NFL picks on The Pat McAfee Show.
One of the those picks normally goes hand-in-hand with his “FanDuel Super Boost” promotion.
Since McAfee is a FanDuel personality, the sportsbook gives him a weekly odds boost to use for one of his football picks.
However, this week, McAfee’s only NFL pick came from his odds boost promo. Instead of looking at multiple NFL games, McAfee ran with a three-leg NFL teaser.
Two of the three legs came from Monday Night Football’s action.
Unfortunately, the Super Boost pick didn’t come through this time around.
With the 0-1 weekend of NFL betting, his record for the season moves to 10-6.
Three-team Week 4 Super Boost teaser
Pat’s Pick: Patriots +14.5, Ravens -5.5 and Packers +.5
Pat’s Explanation:
“Patriots +14.5. Feels like that’s going to happen. I don’t know if Bill Belichick gets beat by 15 points much. The Ravens -5.5 against the Washington Football Team. Hello, bounce-back game from Lamar Jackson! That seems like a lock. And the Packers-Falcons Monday night without Lazard, which could be difficult, but it is Aaron Rodgers, and Aaron Rodgers is on a heater, and you never walk away from a heater.”
Did Pat Win? No, Patriots fail to cover +14.5
McAfee’s college football betting picks
McAfee’s weekly appearances on College GameDay are always full of college football picks.
McAfee got back on track this week after a tough go last weekend.
He rebounded from his first losing week of the season (for college) to go 2-1 on his weekend picks. That brought his overall college betting record to 7-5 for the year.
They tried to bleep me there.. I have to remember I’m on a Disney channel when I get going with that damn hammer.. it’s tough. I apologize.. anyways, GREAT day to have to a great day @CollegeGameday.. Let’s GOOOO pic.twitter.com/Eyg26Jz0yR

West Virginia Mountaineers vs. Baylor Bears
Pat’s Pick: West Virginia +1.5
Pat’s Explanation:
“Go ahead and HAMMER that thing! I got to go to that game last year down in Baylor. Baylor was a great football team. Matt Rhule went over to the Carolina Panthers for like a 10-year, $900 million deal. I think Baylor’s gotten worse, WVU’s gotten better. Last week they were allergic to scoring, they won’t be like that this week.”
Final Score: West Virginia 27, Baylor 21
Did Pat Win? Yes
Arkansas State Red Wolves vs. Coastal Carolina Chanticleers
Pat’s Pick: Arkansas State -3.5
Pat’s Explanation:
“Logan Bonner and that Red Wolves squad is grossly underestimated and to be honest I just don’t believe in the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers this year. HAMMER the Red Wolves!”
Final Score: Coastal Carolina 52, Arkansas State 23
Did Pat Win? No
Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Texas A&M Aggies
Pat’s Pick: Alabama -17.5
Final Score: Alabama 52, Texas A&M 24
Did Pat Win? Yes
McAfee new betting record
Overall, you’ve been a winner if you’ve taken all of Pat’s Picks.
McAfee’s combined NFL and college football betting record is now 17-11.
With his NFL winning streak snapped, McAfee will be hoping to get things back on track during Week 5.
Making more than one bet would help out his chances. Hopefully he goes back to releasing an entire slate of NFL picks.
PlayIndiana will have McAfee’s new record early next week, so check in after the weekend to see if Pat’s Picks are still hitting.
