Indiana Casinos Hosting Special Events To Celebrate The Holidays

The end of the year brings out all sorts of holiday events and deals from casinos around the country. That’s certainly the case in Indiana.

Casinos in Indiana are throwing all sorts of special get-togethers this time of the year since Christmas and New Year’s Eve are right around the corner.

Gamblers can take advantage of these holiday events through the end of the year. With casinos in nearly every corner of the state, there’s something nearby for the majority of Hoosiers.

Christmas events at French Lick Casino

French Lick Resort and Casino is hosting all sorts of Christmas and New Year’s events this holiday season.

The casino’s winter special event season runs through Jan. 9, 2023, so you still have plenty of time left to get in the holiday spirit.

The “50 Days of Lights” is already well underway at French Lick Resort. Half a million lights are illuminating the area to set the mood for Christmas.

The lights are a perfect pairing with the rest of French Lick’s other Christmas activities.

For example, the spa wing of French Lick Hotel is featuring a projection light show multiple times per day this holiday season. The show uses projectors and 3D animation to transform the building into a variety of Christmas-themed scenes.

The casino also features all sorts of other Christmas events in the leadup to New Year’s Eve.

The final day of the year will be a palate cleanser for the holiday season at French Lick. The casino will be switching over to a Rio Carnival-themed celebration to finish out 2022.

Carnival is a Brazilian tradition, but this year, it’s making its way to Indiana.

French Lick’s New Year’s event will feature a fresh design for the atrium, plenty of live music and a traditional champagne toast at midnight. Plus, there’s a dessert buffet available to sweeten the deal.

Four Winds Casino New Year’s Eve events

Four Winds Casino in South Bend is looking to make the most of New Year’s Eve this year. The casino is handing out all sorts of cash prizes throughout the day on Dec. 31 to help celebrate the holiday.

The giveaways start at noon that day, with Four Winds handing two winners $2,500 cash each.

In addition, the casino will be awarding two Players Club members with $2,023. Those giveaways will take place once an hour between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

New Year’s Money Mania will kick off after midnight with Four Winds handing out $20,000 to one gambler at 1 a.m.

Just an hour later, another gambler will win $10,000 cash, with a third winner taking home $5,000 cash to round out the night at 3 a.m.

If you feel like sticking around for New Year’s Day, then you’ll be in the mix for another round of giveaways from the casino. Four Winds will be handing out another $50,000 throughout the day at various time.

Four Winds is already in the holiday spirit ahead of its New Year’s celebrations. If you visit the casino, then you’ll be able to see the property’s gingerbread village.

The village is based off of Dr. Seuss’ “The Grinch” and features hundreds of pounds worth of gingerbread, icing and chocolate.

Hard Rock Northern Indiana holiday concerts

If you live near the Chicago area, then heading to Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana could be a great option for New Year’s Eve.

Hoosiers from the Region will be able to enjoy all sorts of New Year’s concerts at the casino.

Hard Rock has a full lineup of musical acts through the day, including options like Nerdvana, Wayne Baker Brooks and 90s hitmakers Everclear.

Live music could be a fun option to ring in 2025, but it’s just one of the many holiday options that Indiana’s casinos are offering. More holiday season events will likely take place around the state, so check in with your local casino for the full list of options.
