Barstool Sportsbook Launches In Indiana With Pacers Betting Promotion
As of Tuesday, May 18, the Barstool Sportsbook mobile app is fully live in the Hoosier State. To commemorate the end of the app’s test period, the sportsbook has released launch promos for new Indiana bettors.
One of them is all about tonight’s Indiana Pacers Play-In Tournament game against the Charlotte Hornets. The other is more versatile, just in case the Pacers’ season does end at the hands of the Hornets.
Barstool Sportsbook launches with “Indiana Special”
Thanks to its arrangement with the Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg, the Barstool app is now live in Indiana. Time is of the essence to get the maximum value when it comes to Pacers playoff games, too.
Barstool is offering an “Indiana Special” for betting on the Indiana Pacers. After registering for your account or logging in, opt into the Indiana Special. Then, place a moneyline wager prior to tonight’s contest. Tip is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
For each playoff game the Pacers win, the sportsbook will give you a cash payout equal to your original wager, up to $100. So, if the Pacers end up winning it all this year, that could add up to as much as $1,800.
That isn’t the only deal that Barstool has for Indiana bettors, and the book’s other promo has a tad more flexibility to it.
2-For-1 new player bonus
Barstool is essentially giving new users a guarantee if they lose their first bet. It’s only open to first-time depositors with Barstool, however. If you’ve already made wagers with Barstool in Illinois, Michigan, or Pennsylvania, this isn’t for you.
For first-time depositors, this promo could be worth up to $1,000. To take advantage of it, deposit into your account after registration. Then, place any wager you like.
If you lose that bet, Barstool will credit your account with site credit equal to the amount of that wager, up to $1,000.
Barstool’s launch in the Hoosier State is about more than just covering losses in wagers or making Pacers playoff wins more profitable. It’s about opening up another robust market to Penn National Gaming.
Jay Snowden, president and CEO of Penn National, said the following in a press release.
“We are thrilled to be launching our online Barstool Sportsbook in Indiana at the start of the NBA’s new playoff format. Our retail Barstool Sportsbooks at Ameristar Casino East Chicago and Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg have been very well received by our customers since opening this past December, and now Hoosiers from across the state will be able to engage with Dave Portnoy, Dan ‘Big Cat’ Katz, and all of the Barstool personalities through the Barstool Sportsbook app.”
With these promos and offers, Pacers fans have another reason to hope that the team makes a deep run this year.
