Pat McAfee NFL Week 1 Betting Picks Leave Lots Of Room For Improvement

Pat McAfee NFL Week 1 Betting Picks Leave Lots Of Room For Improvement

Posted on September 13, 2021

Welcome to the 2021-2022 edition of Pat’s Picks.

PlayIndiana tracks Pat McAfee’s football betting picks throughout the season.

His overall record last year of 62-61 was just enough for him to end the football season as a winning gambler. McAfee went 14-13 on his college football bets, which is what pushed him into positive territory.

The former Indianapolis Colts player makes his weekly picks on the “Hammer Dahn” segment of The Pat McAfee Show.

When the dust settled after last year’s Super Bowl, McAfee’s pro football betting record ended dead even at 48-48.

All things considered, that’s a decent way to end the year. Better to break even than to lose money.

McAfee will be trying to take things a step further this time around. Ending the year on top won’t be easy, but he only needs to improve slightly on last season to make it happen.

Unfortunately, all of McAfee’s picks missed the mark for NFL Week 1.

He’s starting the year 0-5, but there’s still plenty of time to recover.

It’s worth noting that McAfee is a FanDuel personality, so he uses the sportsbook’s betting odds for all of his picks.

Pat McAfee college football picks?

So far, we don’t have any college football betting picks from McAfee.

He was a regular on College GameDay last season, but his relationship with the show looks like it’s come to an end.

McAfee might not have his own GameDay segment this season, but that doesn’t mean that we won’t be getting any college football picks from him. A handful of college picks could help balance out his record, but only time will tell if he ends up releasing them.

Check back in each week to see if McAfee is keeping his head above water.
